Dr. Joseph Oolut, M.D.

Vascular Interventional Specialist

Dr. Joseph Oolut completed his medical school at the University of Texas-Houston and subsequently completed internal medicine, a chief medical residency, and a renal fellowship at UT-Houston. After fellowship, he worked with Vascular Access Centers and became trained in interventional nephrology procedures. He was named the Medical Director of VAC-Seattle and completed vascular access and interventional radiology procedures in ten states around the country. After extensive experience with patient populations nationwide, he returned back to his hometown of Houston and became the Medical Director of VMI Sugar Land and was responsible for outpatient vascular access procedures and management for the region. In July 2016 he joined the Renal Clinic of Houston and has provided services to the Memorial and Katy area. Clinically he has strong interests in vascular access management with minimally invasive interventional techniques as well as management of acute kidney injury. He loves running, movies, sports, reading, and spending as much time as possible with his family.

Dr. Hemanth Hampole, M.D.

Vascular Interventional Specialist

Dr. Hampole completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in J.J.M Medical College, India. He later moved to Chicago, Illinois where he completed Internal Medicine training at Cook County Hospital. During residency, he received ‘Clinical Excellence Award’ for outstanding patient care. Following this, he went on to serve as Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago. As a chief resident, he enjoyed teaching medical students and residents and was also able to streamline the ‘Patients Discharge Module’ and conduct board review for internal medicine residents. He then went on to pursue fellowship in Nephrology at University of Illinois, Chicago. For his efforts, he was awarded the Administrative Chief Fellow for the academic year of 2015-16.

Dr. Hampole’s clinical interests include acute glomerulonephritis, hypertensive disorders, dialysis and interventional nephrology procedures. He is a member of Texas Medical Association, American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology and Renal Physicians Association. Outside work, he enjoys hiking, photography, music and spending time with his family which includes his pet dog.

Stuart A. Harlin, M.D., FACS

Associate Professor of Surgery, The University of Texas, McGovern Medical School at Houston Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery.

Stuart A. Harlin, M.D. is a vascular surgeon and an assistant professor in the department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at UT McGovern Medical School and is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospitals in Katy, Sugar Land, Greater Heights, Texas Medical Center and Cypress.

Board certified in vascular surgery, Dr. Harlin is experienced in surgical reconstruction, minimally invasive interventions and the medical management of vascular disorders.  His broad background includes caring for the following conditions: peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysm, carotid disease, venous disease and dialysis access.

Dr. Harlin earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency in General Surgery at Kessler Medical Center at the Kessler Air Force Base, in Mississippi.  He completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and is an esteemed and decorated Air Force medical Veteran where he served in the US Military from 1992 to 1999.

Dr. Harlin is active in several vascular research studies and has published articles in prominent medical journals such as the Journal of Vascular Surgery, American Journal of Surgery, Military Medicine and Vascular Surgery.  Dr. Harlin is a member of many professional society including the International Society of Vascular Surgery, the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery, Society of Vascular Surgery, The Southern Association of Vascular Surgery, Society of Vascular Surgery, American Academy of Wound Specialist, Southeastern Surgical Congress, Peripheral Vascular Surgical Society and the Society of Air Force Clinical Surgeons.
